Run for Collin.
A 5K for youth mental health, founded by a sixteen-year-old who noticed people — and continued by the ones who loved him.
St. Louis, MO · Washington University · November 8, 2026
Atlanta, GA · The Mount Vernon School · February 2027
In memory of Collin Charles Maher, 2006–2026. He founded the Cocoa Classic as a sophomore, and it put shoes on more than 1,600 kids. The race continues in his name.
What is the Cocoa Classic?
Two races - Two States - one reason to run.
It started as a 5K in Sandy Springs, Georgia that a sixteen-year-old built to buy shoes for kids who needed them. It's now two races in two cities, raising money to close a gap in youth mental health that cost us the person who started it.
Come to race it. Come to walk it with your kids. Come because you knew Collin, or because you know someone like him. The finish line is the same either way — hot cocoa, and a lot of people who showed up for the same reason.
