My name is Chris Maher. On May 15th, 2026, my nineteen-year-old son Collin died by suicide. He had ADHD from the first grade and twelve years of caring, capable treatment — and was never once screened for the emotional dysregulation that took his life, because our system doesn't look for it.
This foundation exists to change that: to find the children who carry this hidden risk, and to reach them before a crisis — so that the next child who looks exactly as Collin did is found in time.
If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any time, day or night.
